After Hours Care:

At Rockford Pediatrics, we are available by phone 24 hours/7 days a week. We can be reached by calling the main office number. After hours, a non-medical, communication’s operator will take your child's information and page the nurse triage system on call.

The after-hours line should be used for urgent medical questions only that cannot wait for normal business hours. If you are questioning whether to bring your child into an urgent care center or emergency room, please give us a call. For non-urgent matters, please call us during business hours or contact us via the patient portal. Please note that we do not call in antibiotics or steroids over the phone without a patient being seen.

There is a $20 charge for the use of the After Hours Line to help offset the cost of our communications/Nurse triage system.
