Rockford Pediatrics has an E-visit platform. We will now be offering on-demand E-visits from 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday and from 10 AM – 2 PM, Saturday and Sunday. To request an E-visit, click the e-Visit link for further instructions. Calling the office to schedule an appointment for an E-visit is no longer necessary.

Issues to consider:

1. Please allow 30 minutes for a provider to respond, especially during clinic hours. Our providers may be seeing patients at the requested time and will have to fit the eVisit into their schedule.

2. Most insurance companies will cover telehealth visits, however some do not. If your insurance does not cover the visit, you will receive a bill for the visit.

3. Our providers will still be available for urgent phone calls whenever the office is closed (evenings, weekends or if the office closes early). There is a $20 charge for the use of the after-hours system to help offset the cost of the communication’s service.

4. We will not be able to diagnose and treat some conditions (such as ear infections, strep throat or bladder infections) via telehealth. We would recommend an office visit for those concerns.
